PEREGRINE thermostatic engine coolant heaters use thermosiphon or pumped circulation to keep engines warm while they stand idle. A warm engine starts first time, puts less strain on the starter motor and battery, wears less and burns fuel more efficiently, which makes preheating essential for standby generators, fire pumps, marine engines and plant. Single and twin element models are available, with outputs up to 8,000W, accurate thermostats and optional alarm circuits.
PEREGRINE diesel fuel tank heaters stop fuel from waxing and gelling in cold weather by holding bulk storage at a safe, steady temperature. Each heater is made to order to suit the tank depth, ambient conditions and insulation, with welded stainless steel construction, thermostatic control and a low watt density for safe, reliable operation.
The range also includes industrial immersion water heaters for storage tanks, sprinkler and foam systems, and compact anti-condensation heaters from 20W to 120W that protect switchgear, control panels and enclosures from moisture and corrosion. All PEREGRINE heaters are designed, built and tested in the UK.
